  Not a customer friendly bank. Scenarios below:
  
  When we opened a checking account, they offered a $100 bonus after 90 days. After 90 days, we did not receive our bonus. It took multiple phone calls to get that fixed.
  
  Accidentally overdrafted by paying off our credit card out of the wrong account. I did not receive a notification that the account went negative until FOUR DAYS later. During that time, we had made two measly purchases at Target. So we received three overdraft charges of $35. The first one was our fault (credit card). But they refused to refund the other two unless I opened a line of credit or savings account even though it's THEIR system that is slow on sending notifications. We have other accounts with Anchorbank, First National and TCF and never have had any issues with customer service.
  
  I would not recommend doing business with BMO. They don't care to keep your business. I will be closing my account with them.
